Media and Communication Specialist
Douglas Boyd is the DT Site Lead, and Media and Communication Specialist on the Operational Environment Team at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany. Douglas has over 12 years of experience in exercise design, development, and execution with a focus on information operations and hybrid warfare.
In 2013, Douglas led a development team to create a new training platform designed to increase the effectiveness of U.S., NATO, and multinational forces operating in Europe. In 2016, he added to this initiative by creating an Information Operations Effects Team that captures and displays the actions of numerous information-related capabilities in a realistic manner and time frame to support civil affairs, psychological operations, electronic warfare, cyber, special purpose forces, and public affairs training.
Douglas obtained a B.A. in International Marketing and A.A.S. in Web Development & Interactive Design at Baker College of Flint. He holds multimedia certifications in Final Cut Pro X, Logic, and Motion Animation at the College of Multimedia, Amsterdam. Douglas served in the U.S. Army for eight years with deployments in the Middle East and Baltics.
